I like Wendy's Chili. Now I'm no chili expert but to me its delicious.

Anybody else like it?

It's not bad. Even better when it's free, which is whenever the NY Islanders score 3 goals during a home game .

They used to make these nice deli sandwiches for example Black Forest Ham or Some kind of sliced turkey. They were about $3.50 each which I guess didn't fit the $1.00 menu trend happening at that time. The deli sandwiches disappeared from the menu quickly.

They had pretty good baked potatoes , maybe they still do?

Anyway , I like the chili. Has a nice fresh tomatoey taste and a fair amount of onion and celery chunks mixed in with the meat and beans. Not too many beans either!

EVERY Wendy's is different

SOME take pride in what they do
others not so much

Went to the one in Sturbridge one time
and asked for a baked potato
and it had to be two days old
ended up tossing it....

never been back to that one.

Which means it happens about as often as Halley's Comet comes around.

That's OK , that's the kind I eat at home , no beans. They must doctor it up a little though cause Wendy's has more tomatoe , onions and celery , in fact Hormels has none.

I like to line a plate with tortilla chips . heat up a can of Hormel , pour it over the chips , scatter some medium hot sauce and a little cheese. Instant nachoes!

I've been spoiled having lived in San Antonio for to many years and also consuming my Jane's insane chili from scratch.

Wendy's chili(aka Hormel)is like Hormel beef stew.......dog food marketed for people.

If ya like the canned junk then at least bump it up to Bush's.Its do-able out of the can.

We get a small to make chili dogs sometimes. Wicked awesome! Add a little cheddar and a spoonfull of fresh salsa and an icy beer. There's your rapture for ya...

They'll be pretty good in a year or two, as the kids like Grabner and Tavares mature .

Yummm , like the chili dog idea. I'll have to try it. I'm thinking "bedda cheddas" on the grill with the Wendy's chili. Inspiring!
