Question pLUGFEST IDEA# 206

I would like to suggest that starting this year we have a table set up as a tribute to a builder of the past who has most influenced us and the Striper plug genre.

I suggest this year we honor someone who was the biggest influence on me, Stan Gibbs.

It would be great if we could have anyone, not just collectors, bring in an old or unusual Gibbs plug and we set them all up in one spot so that we can all see the contributions this man made to the development of the art of creating wooden lures for the taking of Striped Bass.

Just an idea, what do you think?

Why even try.........

Sounds good to me as an onlooker and not a builder.

My 2 largest fish to date were caught on Gibbs Cast-A-Lures. Back in the 60's. Both were pencils fished off the ledges of Maine at false dawn!

Great idea!

Great idea,
How about we bring 2 and donate one to Angler #1 for the Stan Gibbs display on the canal.
This way you will play a part for everyone to enjoy for years to come .
