Just goes to show you the bull-crap that this President has thrown. In his run for the presidency he said he was for single payer health, in New Hampshire he says there will not be a single payer program. Read his lips, "not at the moment, first we need to hook you and reel you in."

As for Kennedy, he has done nothing for the country. He is a paid political figure, a former drunk and murderer, helped his first wife become an alcoholic, kept another family member out of jail and finally put in jail 20 years later for killing a 16 year old female neighbor with a golf club and then another family member that got off of a rape charge at the Kennedy compound and lets not forget the Kennedy nut with a drug problem driving around DC crashing into barriers while drunk and on drugs and checks himself into a clinic when ever he gets in trouble, but the Kennedy name keeps him out of jail. I guess you can call that name a perk.

But, I do agree with you Teddy should get an award, "The Golden Fickel Finger Award."

ted.......... pfff

maybe he'll get the honorary
died in office award of old age.....
a gold posthumous award.
you know... pin it to his Tux

but it occurred to me..... just recently....
it hit me like a flash.... an Epiphany of sorts...
on the subject of Health Care....

those two words are all F-ing wrong....!!

it should be Health REPAIR... not Care

we go to get repaired ... from what???

eating Badly or other unhealthy practices...

who do you see for that? a Doctor,
a revolving door
who gives you nothing but pills....
....just a middleman for dispensing
prescription drugs for the big pharmaceutical companies.

this is America's real drug problem....

as far as care... better nutrition is real care

Half of the food
at most restaurants is FAT....yep! 50% of it is Fat,,,

if not that............ it's fully loaded up with sugar and or salt.

Dunkin Doughnuts in my opinion and this whole false
energy via caffeine and a sugar high via pastries is screwing
up our nutrition just like terrorist's screw up economies.

every time someone comes down off of that high they get irate
making it a friggan warzone... road rage is a perfect example

and they are on every corner..... these terrorist outlets
people lining up like they need more ammo for a war zone

they all looked burnt out like drug addicts
needing a fix.... friggan coffee sucks

where is the intervention within our society for this?
non-existent...

it will not be written about in the thousand page
manual for health care

it is not even a f-ing consideration.

rant complete

Unless you are among the lucky who one day drops dead, you're going to eventually get sick and die regardless of what lifestyle you practice.

we need Universal Grocery...socialized food..paid for progressively as determined through your tax returns your ability to pay, Government will take over all grocery stores and you will, based on the information profile that the government has compiled on you in it's medical data base, be required to "purchase" certain foods that the government deems appropriate for your current physical status and with regard to how that my affect your burden on the government healthcare system.... this will allow government to determine which foods may or may not be offered depending on their potential effect on the collective, the poor will pay nothing to collect their food and the rich will pay exhorbitant costs because they can afford it, little will change for the middle earning less that $250,000 except that there will be little or no selection and long lines at these new and improved grocery stores because the governmment will buy only in bulk from producers/suppliers which will be run by unions reporting directly to the Food Czar....Obama does not "WANT" to take over the food industry...he's got many important things like the Middle East, North Korea, Kobe Beef to deal with...but it is in the best interest of the State and the long term interest of a successful socialized healthcare system that the government in it's wisdom determine what you may and may not eat...

next up...universal exercise...

oh, sorry Salty...Billy Jean?

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is a decoration bestowed by the President of the United States and is, along with the equivalent Congressional Gold Medal bestowed by an act of Congress, the highest civilian award in the United States. It is designed to recognize individuals who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.

She was on my short list.
