They were starting to get ice up in NH in the higher elevations. These 50+ temps aren't helping....isn't looking much better in the next couple of weeks either

I'm going to keep an eye to the north....hoping a couple hour drive may put me onto some ice.

You may still get your wish....after tomorrow the extended forecast shows no night time temps above freezing in the vicinity of some of your favorite northern areas......with the week of x-mas dropping into the single digits......

Granted this is new england and it still a bit in the future....but hope springs eternal

one can only hope... I am working on a new transport system for my portable and main sleds ( revised addition of the Smitty sled, kevin..).. not only does it keep the house off of the ground for transport.. i can load gear or my other sled on top of it... I added a set of removable drop down wheels for crossing roads or snowless terrain.. I'll post pictures when i am done

this is pretty sweet.... put together and take down with out tools if I want to break down the frame which the house rides on... spring loaded pins ( like a snow plow pin) for the drop down wheels in case i have to cross roads otr over frozen ground.. if I dont need the wheels, I remove one clip and the pin holding the wheel assembelly comes off..... I made my ski's.. I should finish tonight...
