Damn this is a big storm. Very glad it slid off shore and just grazed the coast. Offshore buoys just recorded a 118mph gust. Check out this Satellite Image.

Beyond possible. USCG Chatham Light was flying hurricane force warnings earlier this morning.

Weather Channel said they only name storms that hit major populations and that's why this one wasn't named .Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

Buoy 44027 is 20 nm southeast of Jonesport, ME. I was looking at that data yesterday. Even the sustained winds were just a bit short of hurricane force.
I wonder what readings came out of places like PEI and Nova Scotia?
