audio cassette to CD transfer

Does anyone know how or where to take stuff off a cassette and put onto a CD?

any help appreciated

I am not good with computers so don't suggest some program and do it on my laptop because that's not happening.

thanks for any suggestions

I have been looking too Slip, and found Walmart does it for around $9.00
a tape depending on the length. They say to bring them to the store where
they will give you a price and send them out. If you still have the old camera you can use it to show them on TV.
As soon as we have it done DVD will be out of vogue and you'll have to transfer the new DVD to something else. Never fails.

Ok slip, thought you were talking video cassettes from the old camcorder days.

Web search found some companies that will take your music cassettes and put them on cd's, four day turnaround.

Never had reel to reel , but I did have the 8 track system until it was replaced by cassette.

I was just looking through some stuff and saw my box of live cassttes. I had a pretty sweet setup back then with dual single decks for tapes. So many Maxell points! Some real gems in those boxes. Today there is so much on the net, and only older cars seem to have a tape deck, its just not worth it for me unless it had sentimental value so I never looked. Good luck!
