New Stuff

Hey fellas!
It's been a rough couple of last weeks, but I was finally able to get into the finishing shop and get some plugs finished up. Some new patterns along with some old favorites. More to follow soon, need to finish up as my wife and I are expecting our first little one in a couple of short weeks....which may very well finish up my building season.
Some flaptails, gliders, and jerkbaits.
I hope all is well
MS

Nice job MS, I really like that dark green flaptail. You've got quite a variety here, what wood are you using for glides, jerks and flaps?

Thanks a lot fellas for the kind words!!

Skippy, lol...she will show up soon...i was sure last week Friday, but didn't quite make it

The Flaptails are either WRC or pine, I don't weight them in the rear like the original Lido's,I like the line tile low and it keeps the arse high and the flaptail blade will alternate between spinning and randomly slapping the surface.
The lathed gilder is just over 5oz and made from poplar, I tried to build it to swim like a Hughes river, sinks nice, and I like the erratic glide I get from it.
The cranks are cedar with aluminum lips, I was on a crank building spree a couple of years ago and have a bunch of blanks I'm finally getting to. No luck with the Muskies on the cranks yet but the bass love 'em.
