A GB Outdoors from the past

I talked my buddy Greg into bringing up his tandem 17 foot hobie kayak so we could finally get out together and we crushed the large. We were on the water around 6:30 and quit at 9:30 due to fatigue, after catching at least ten or more stripers each and all well over the slot size. We had a few comical doubles, we would have enjoyed the whales, seals and dophins also fishing, but we were having to much fun. These two ran around us for a while and we somehow managed to land them both, quick photo op and back in the water.

Nice. Great to see a Greg post too.

Getting into them is great but doing it on the Yak is even better.

Nice yak; a mile better than my old Pelican tandem. Looks like it could handle some waves. BTW might want to post in the kayak fishing section; need some more posts there.

Greg and Don were the first organizers of the TFCTFN.

Maybe next year we do something low-key?

Love hooking up with Greg, but getting some of his venison chili was always worth going to the annual FFCTFN.
