Guess What My Scale Said???

It said get the heck off of me!!! So 2 weeks ago I weighed myself......313 pounds!!!! Heaviest I have ever been!!! So I immediately quit eating the stuff I love....donuts, sweets, baked goods....cut out the bread and adjusted my portions....ALOT! Combine that with all the exercise I have been getting on the canal bike and I lost 3.5 pounds the first week and 2.5 pounds this week....6 pounds total! Not too bad!!!! My goal is to be down 20 when I head to Cutty in June!!! 30 is the ultimate goal! I am gonna rock that wetsuit!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Take that 50lb striper out of your back pocket before jumping on the scale.....

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

don't know if ya like them Larry

But raw sunflower seeds totally curb your appetite

don't buy the roasted ones because the magic is gone

drink more water because your stomach doesn't care
if it's full of solid food or liquid...and since fat is water soluble
you can pee some weight (fat) away.

the hollywood diet is to not eat after 4 pm
maybe..... that's not realistic for you
but you could eat your heaviest meal at lunchtime

and then eat a lighter meal at dinner time
with the emphasis on having an easy to digest meal
like fruit before you go to bed.

I've lost around 40lbs this year.My secret is pumpkin seeds.I snack on roasted no shell lightly salted pumpkin seeds.Coffee and a yogurt for breakfast.Pumpkin seeds with 9am coffee and some more around lunch.I cut lunch out of the picture.Always makes me lazy and tired at work anyway.Tons of water.Dinner has consisted of steamed vegetables.Mix in some cardio every other day and the weight will drip off.Get on your Kayak and go for miles and hours.I feel damn good.Minus the pulled shoulder muscle I have right now.Stomach problems are going away.Confidence level is up.It's easy if you just set your mind to it and don't stray. After I eat my dinner I tell my mind it was a large steak and cheese and I'm as full as I can get.Works for me.I look at all of the fat people everywhere I go and realize I don't want to be one of them. There's tons of health problems that go along with being over weight.Good for you Larry and I hope you stick with your short term goals. My scale read 191 this morning.BTW a little tip.If you like nuts try NutsOnline | Premium Bulk & Wholesale Nuts, Dried Fruits & Gift Baskets .Great deals and for me they always come next day.If I order friday afternoon they are on my step on Sat.The dried strawberries are excellent snacks to throw in the baggy with the pumpkin seeds for coffee break.Good luck again.

Here is a tip from my primary care doc and it seems to work:
No whites at night

No pasta, potatoes, bread, sugar, etc after 4pm..........

and lots of water.......
