desktop computer wanted

Looking for a small desktop, simple with xp, parallel port and preferably a lcd monitor. Don't need a crt monitor got enough of them. 1/2 gb memory is fine, don't need any spiffy graphics, and smaller hard drive is ok also.

Have a desktop gateway (about 4 years old) that i was willing to donate. Still works and i'm just upgrading.I think shipping will be too much... and you're too far to pick up.

no won't drive the voltage levels on the lpt port properly brian. We've never been able to make a laptop work in this setup.

Man I wish it did Brian it would make things so easy. The lpt ports in the laptops don't drive the ports with a high enough voltage and it causes problems. We have tried a whole bunch and they all seem to be the same.

May have a spare for you. I know the kids have two in their room but I think they only use 1. I'll check later on tonight.

Question

Scott, I have a Dell with a Pentium chip that I'm about to get rid of. It needs a hard drive, but is otherwise fine. Has a 15in. CRT monitor, and would come with keyboard, and mouse. Trade for plugs is fine.
Located in NY

Interested?

Hard drive is there, but has issues. I'd like to wipeout whatever data is on it, but it won't let me get to where I need to go, hence the need to replace it.
