WOW Elapse Time 9 seconds and it's more then half way.

May I know why a diamond carbide is use? Could a slightly more round over head produce a smoother finish? Maybe even a router connected there. But I'm a noob with this CNC stuff or lathe turning for that matter lol.

Dang no more disclosures?

This CNC stuff fascinates me. But damn*#&$#^ TIME and $$. I had some chance to play with my friend's hobby CNC (4 axis). SolidWorks drawing. MasterCam cutting. 216 hrs later we got a lure body Could've hand carve the lure body in 15 minutes LOL. But the potential is really there for production.

Make me drool some more please

sheer porn there

I like beefy machines. I was complaining about my friend's hobby CNC lol, a bit flimsy the way he built it, that introduces some inaccuracy from chatter. Slight but u do expect a lot from CNC LOL

My nephew bought one of those little CNC milling machines. I told him to find an old used Bridgeport but he didn't listen. Thing cost about as much as a used Bridgeport and probably only good for plastic or wood or maybe thin Aluminum.

As Paul said you may have gotten off easy with $500. Probably double that if you wacked anything else out (bearings, etc.).

I feel bad for ya Salty ..... I know you would of rather of spent that $500 on Christmas presents for the kids instead of throwing it out the window on stupid 'computer gremlins'.
