NICE! well done

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Cheapo maybe. But No way crappy tackle! I rewrapped that old 9.5 ft. honey Lamiglas rod from my boyhood with a new, modest but modern guide set this past winter in a moment of extreme boredom. That reel is a an old Diawa 4000C I found over 30 years ago in a beach buggy track where it must have fallen off somebody's rack, and was being run over all night long. I completely took the reel apart, regreased it, and relined it with some old braid I was replacing on another reel.

What do you mean "worn out braid"? You should know that, before that kid caught that fish, I had to CUT OUT and blood knot splice THREE huge braid birds nests, that the youngster delivered me! And so with 3 bankside blood knots in the line, he then hooks up.
Do not ever criticize my knot tying abilities again!

Incredible! Given the time it takes you to tie a knot the kid could have grown a beard.

Back in the 60s, some genius got the hot idea to try to pull the infamous Bell Rd. "cable" by catching it with a grappling hook, and tying it off to his rear axle. It didn't end well. The car left on a tow hook, and the axle traveled separately.

I think he uses his toes to tie the knot! That must have been interesting to see on the side of the canal!
