Lynard Skynard

lucky to have seen them once. I am a big fan of the earlier stuff.

The plane crash in 77 was one of the biggest tragedies in Rock music.
Allen Collins could really tear it up on the guitar !
I really like the playing of Steve Gaines also !

that is one of my favorite tunes he was involved in for sure. Man I tried to play that for weeks on end and never did it even a tenth as good as he did. I finally gave up. Great skills.

Must be all die hard Skynard fans since nobody posted up
Free Bird yet. Although I am still a bit partial to the guitars on the studio version. Had 10th row center seats at a smaller arena when the plane went down. Glad I had seen then prior to. I was such a Southern rock fan back then. Still love the stuff.
