Wassabe Peas?

No, I'm not talking about those Bud Light commercials that used to be on TV. I was in a meeting and someone handed me a container of Wassabe Peas. Anyone ever have these before? Dried peas covered with dried wassabe mustard on them. I grabbed a big handful and threw them in my mouth. The guy next to me smiled. Two seconds later, I swear, flames came out my nose, my vision blurred as tears welled up in my eyes and I'm sure I heard the song Flame Thrower echoing in my brain. This is by far the hottest snack I have ever had. It's not funny. Don't Laugh! Just be careful if someone hands you some.

Love em! Especially with cold beer while we're out fishing.

I knew a guy...

Who once didn't know how spicy wasabi mustard was and decided to eat the whole lump (approximately 2-3 inches in diameter)...I don't think he'll try that again.

first then then ...not pretty

Yum! They're not that hot. This guy I used to work with asked the bartender at this bar for the hottest wings they made. Bartender says you don't want that, but he'll bring out just a sample of the sauce in a dixie cup to test. So he takes a taste and about 5 seconds later sweat starts pouring down off his bald head which is now beet red and his nose won't stop running . I tried a little, like an idiot, and dripped a little on my lip. Spent the next hour with cold beer bottles pressed against it, felt like acid was eating it off

great timing on this thread as someone here at work brought in a package of the wasabi peas and left them in my office for people to try. i haven't tried them yet and now i will be a little hesitant but i think i am going to have to try atleast one of them.

atomic horsradish

wassabe is not a mustard but a horseradish. I had the peas in Japan two years ago and I pick them up when I'm in Boston at the super 88. I keep a jar of wassabe in my surf bag for when the bonita are running or if I get a sea bass, its just that the ginger doesn't travel well. It feels sooooooo gooood when it stops burning!!

Wassabe mustard kills sinus problems! I swear to god! Whenever I have a cold, I just eat it with sushi or sashami, I let it burn my nose until it causes a running, watering, flowing river outta of the nostrils! It's the best feeling, gentlemen.

In the DVD my wife got from DVD Barn 'Jackass' there is a scene where a guy takes the wassabe mustard and makes three lines of it on counter and then sniffs it like coke.

He gagged so much he was upch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g all over the place.

Now THATS STUPID !!!!!
