holy crap I just realized that if the Sox's are fortunate to win the series at home there will probably be a parade on Saturday. Lansdowne Street and the city will be a zoo. Awesome. Eddie's driving.

You guys are in for a treat! Just got back from the show at the Beacon in NYC and it was really good (and I would not describe myself as a Zappa fanatic).

I am driving from Hartford, so likely best to meet where there is parking in the vicinity. May also park out a ways and take the T depending on the rolling rally impact.

If you'd like to meet us at front of the venue that'll work. I'll send you my cell number.

talked to Eddie yesterday. His computer is on the fritz. I am probably going to meet him where I usually do at the Home Depot on 24 in Brockton around 5. I told him I'd call him tomorrow. Probably better if we meet Bob in town or if you want Bob you can meet us on 24 I guess. Be up to you. Matty don't know if you want to meet us or have us meet you in your area. I think Eddie is open to anything as am I. I can give you a call tomorrow too if you want to discuss. I hope the rolling rally should be pretty much over, it starts at 10am, by the time we get in there but it is a Saturday so who knows. P.

I hope so. We have been a little disappointed last 2 shows as they cut down the size of the band and it just doesn't meet the criteria, sound, a Zappa sound needs without those specific eliminated instruments. Plus after seeing the Grand Mothers of Invention a month or so ago and being extremely impressed with what they are doing they will have to step it up this time. We shall see. P

But if a novice like me enjoyed the instrumental interplay maybe there is hope for the hard core

I will enjoy it no doubt just wish they would keep the original whole band as something is lost in the complexity of the music when you don't have all the instruments needed. It will still be good though.

Good show and great getting together again! Thanks for getting the tix Matt. Nice to hear Roxy live. Personal highlights were Penguin in Bondage and Cheepnis from the Roxy set and sax solo on Black Page, Broken Hearts and The Torture never stops from the other tunes. Much less the Dwezil show than last time, but I liked that one too.

Nice meeting you Bob and always great seeing you two other jamokes.
I too enjoyed the Roxy set. They need NMB imo though.
