8 Year old's first hand carved

My eight year old son went with me the other day to Mike Thomas' house to go over some plug stuff. When we got home he bugged me to build his own plug. Seeing as though he has been working on his whiddling badge in Cub Scouts I gave him a block of pine and told him to have a ball. He sat in the shop with me and carved away with his pocket knife while I worked. An hour later he asked if I could drill this for him. WOW....he carved a plug!!! I Drilled it and he is now painting it all by him self. He wants to know if there is a youth class at Plugfest? I told him he can bring it but I doubt theres a class for him. I can't wait for him to start turning.
