My advice, DONT DO IT!!. Uness ALL the people you work with are really cool and good friends. I worked for a wireless co. and the people there were the biggest A-Holes . I would give a Wine bottle assortment in a box, and get a GOLF Umbrella (I dont even play golf,& this wasnt even on my list of choices). Another time I got 3 fishing lures from the discount bin at sports authority (like I wouldnt figure it out) .
Co-workers can be some big time penny pinching tight arses, and many are just in the Secret Santa thing to GET more than they give. I would never exchange gifts with anyone but friends and family ever again.

Unhappy

Work can be a very mean place to exchange gifts. You shoulda seen the stuff at our Secret Santa a few years ago. Even I was embarrassed for some of the giftees.

I drew a lady here, so I had a nice gift basket made up. I'm going to start clearing a space on my mantle for my 99 cent pez dispenser.

We have done a Yankee swap at work for years. Finally it came to an end this year as other teams did not want to do it anymore. It figures, since I took that day off!

HAMMER TIME!

I got suckered in this year, at least I can say that I purchased a thoughtful gift. I know I'll receive something really bad, but at least they stopped nagging me about joining secret santa!

But a gift cert. for a picture of Bass at Hooters would have been better...
