Time is flying

Can't believe its almost October, it's raining out, so I did some painting in on some Halloween carvings.

This is the first year I've gone months without fishing. Combination of some nagging lower back issues, obviously the weather this season as been crap and my usual early/late fall boat trips with an old friend have been non existent due to his own health issues. Luckily my back issues are more of a problem sitting in a kayak and not walking the golf course or doing some carving; good to have multiple outlets and hobbies.

Multiple cortisone shots in both sides of my L4/L5 yesterday, with potential RFA in my future, but if the kayak continues to be uncomfortable, might be thinking about going back to a crossover freshwater/inland salt boat to feed the craving; time will tell.
