Classic Polish Christmas eve, basically everything you could cover with brown butter and onions, some kapusta, rye bread. Booze, wine, and of course a steady diet all day long of cookies.

omg... more what am I NOT eating. Feel like a total piece of sugar and fat filled crap.

Making clam pie tonite for supper just to keeps the sluggishness going

Tomorrow will be filled with overload of leftovers and tuesday will be all greens to cleanse the bodice!

Simplify.......

My Chef de Cuisine woke up sick as a dog... Major reorg on the fly. Kids to their mom's after presents. My mom shifted to my brother's. Marinated lamb vacuum packed and frozen. Won ton soup for her and Peking raviolis for me.

lobster broiled and stuffed with a fresh bay scallop and clam stuffing.
spuds
green pea pod beans
corn
pumpkin flan with whipped cream + some Christmas cookies
and some adult beverages to wash it down.

Oh...and a couple of tums before I crashed.

PS My golden retriever made off with the Christmas stollen...I almost killed her. Luckily my wife made a few and froze them...

We added the unexpected trip to some family in East Greenwich and did the all you can eat desert buffet. really great tasting stiff like chocolate Strawberry creme pie and eclais , etc , etc. Just what we didn't need to end the day but it sure went down good!!

Now back to the eternal diet days.

OK but you have to help me dig the calms, catch and shuck the scallops and haul the lobster pots. (It tastes better when you catch/grow your own)
