Sharing A Proud Dad Moment

4 years ago when my daughter was a freshman in High School she set a goal for herself to be Valedictorian of her class.....she just got word this week that she will be the Valedictorian for Class of 2015.

Very proud of her and how she set a goal and worked her butt off to achieve it.

A couple of weeks ago she was accepted to Wake Forest and she will be going there in the fall. She's going to major in Chemistry with a concentration in Bio-Chemistry.

Been a good couple of weeks here......thought I'd share with you guys.

That must have been awesome to watch take shape and come to fruition. Congratulations!

An awesome young lady and solid citizen who will have a positive impact in this goofy and confused world we are currently living in. Congratulations on being an equally awesome dad.

Super, congrats and she definitely has chosen the right profession!

Thanx Gents.....the best thing we did for her was stay out of her way

she is a highly self motivated kid...every once in awhile my wife would get her "Mom" on and start asking her about her homework......I was like "What in gods name are you trying to "fix" here.....leave her alone"

Spectacular!

Great parenting:

Leaving one kid alone to allow her to flourish to Valedictorian

Leaning on other kid to pick up laundry and make Eagle Scout.

Great job on the kids, great job on Mom & Dad

Oh, and Happy Birthday

Congrats to your daughter. With all the distraction that can be in HS outstanding! You gave her a foundation but no one could do it for her. Awesome
