Watched 24, now I'm Screwed

It is extremely rare that I will begin to watch a television show regularly. Quite honestly, most televison sucks badly.

I can't imagine buying a Tivo, why? it was awful the first time around...?

But, I think 24 is now going to own my Monday nights at 9pm. I watched the first three episodes last night, a friend had them taped.

Wow, what a great show. Now, I have to go and rent last season!!!

Have you watched? Thumbs up or down?

I watched it for the first time Sunday night, pretty good. I couldn't watch it last night, but I'll definately keep it in mind when I have some free time on a Monday.

Thumbs up

You have to get out and watch the first THREE seasons.

I've been avoiding the tube. I wait for the entire season to come out on DVD.

Season 3 is on the menu for this long weekend.

p.s. don't try to watch it in one weekend, you'll get catatonic.

I love that show, I saw it Sunday but got home late last night and forgot about it till the last 5 minutes Now I am behind. I have been watching it since the 1st season. It looks like I missed 2 good hours last night, I don't know how they do it but the show is riveting.

Same here, I watched Sunday 1st time for two hours, last night, the same.

I'm screwed. Good show, but little things bug me like how did the Arab kid, drive to the compound, deliver the briefcase, have the confrontation with his girlfriend, ect. Then have the girlfriend over the house, all in 1 hour?

And why is the Counter Terrorist unit located in L.A.?

I watch that show religiously...and you are screwed because you can't afford to miss one episode.

I got hooked on the second season, didn't watch it the 1st season so I need to get that and watch it.

Jack doesn't "F" around. Loved when he got sick of that wimpy agent doing that "Lightweight" interrogation. He just walked up to the guy, drilled one into his knee, pointed the gun at the other one and asked him for info.....that rocked. No Nicey-nicey w/ the terrorist.

OK, I'll be the downer in this thread. I just have not been able to get into the show at all, but my wife would side with you guys 100% and makes me watch because she controls the remote when it's on. Like last night, can anyone tell me why Jack had to go into the convenience store and take everyone hostage just to buy some time for the satellite feed? Why didn't he just slit the guy's tire and get back in his car and wait? Is it just me or does the new woman in charge at head quarters seem to be asking her people to do just a few too many inappropriate things. Speaking of which, I was re-reading a couple articles in OTW while it was on and may have missed, but did the black dude ever come back to take his little torture device off Bill Devane's kid? CSI New York is about all I can handle these days.

Fear Factor from eight til nine then it's lights out for me. The winter is the only time I allow myself to sleep. In April I will start to wean myself off of sleep so by June it's just Fish, work and then fish some more...

With you DF -

IMO 24 is the best show on TV. I never missed it, yeah getting the first 3 seasons dvd is the way to go, you will not turn it off. Unfor. I'm one of those people who can't wait and sit through the freakin' 10,000 commercials every episode. And no Jack certainly doesn't F around....

I thought the mom poisoned her because she couldn't trust the son to. She died at the front door, didn't she? Sorry Slipknot, guess I was mistaken.
What about Chloe O'Brian, anyone wanna bet she goes thru the entire season with that severe pouty-face on?

Nope, Not mistaken that is exactly what happened. Remember Mom went and made tea. Slipped a little something in the girlfriend's because she new the boy couldn't go through with it.

Next week the mom shows up looking for her and she is lying dead in the living room while she is at the door
