I like this "We're using a democratic process here. I don't know if you know that."

You mean, you've illegally barricaded yourselves in NYU property. Unfortunately for those idiots, the college-student relationship is not a democracy.

I love his repeated statement of "do not use brutality. you're on camera, stop using brutality."

Obama rally gone bad?

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Their parents must be thrilled. I'd be willing to bet that the guy making fun of the suits will be wearing one at his office job some day. He'll eventually realize that mooching off his parents and living in a filthy apartment isn't so cool once your out of college.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

It was a big Protest by NYU students complaining about unfair policies and practices by the college. For some reason, they felt it was within their right to barricade themselves in one of the cafeterias to exercise their "democratic right of civil disobedience. That part mostly left out is that they smashed a couple locks to get in and at least 1 or 2 security officers were assaulted.

Bunch of nitwits.

I was hoping for one.

I still don't understand why they didn't just let NYPD teargas the room and bring it to a quick, no BS end. I'm not too long out of college, but I can't imagine having this sense of entitlement when I was there.

I remember reading a news article about how that cop lost his job later that week and was sued out his a** for using excessive force.

It's one thing to tear gas a group of idiots. It's another to beat the hell out of someone that told you to F-Off.

I bet the guy didn't do it again though And if I were on the jury he wouldn't have gotten a dime. Sorry, I just think some people need a wack once in awhile

I 100% agree. And if it were a random stranger that beat the piss out of him with his bare hands, I'd be fully behind it. However unfortunate and frustration, I feel officers are expected to conduct themselves to a higher standard. I know there are many respectable LEO on this site. I'm curious what they would have done in the same situation.

Also, I don't think pulling out the baton was necessary. That cop had at least 80 pounds on that scrawny punk.
