Anyone work at Bose and get the discount ?

looking at the wave / 3 / cd radio player for 499.99
Or should I buy something else ?

When I was in sales I was told that Bose dosen't discount and if a retailer offers a discount they may pull their products from that retailer. Don't know about employee discount but I did get a free Bose Lifestyle for selling 3. At the time Bose was giving the first 100 sales people that sold 3 a free one as incentive, it worked.:-). They probably take good care of their employees anddon't have to give them a discount.Good luck

I used to have a connection at Bose....got a set of the AM10 speakers for $399....don't have the connection anymore.

The sound on those wave radios is pretty amazing, we have one at home.

they rock, my dad has had his for 15 years with no issues.

check qvc or home shopping network, they had em on special this weekend, think it was 449 with free shipping.

Hold on to your money for a little longer you audio freaks:

Clear View Audio will be releasing products in 2013. Former co-worker is their chief scientist for them and I have listened to their prototypes. Currently they are to come out w/ an I-pod dock that SMOKES everything that is out there! They buy expensive competitor products and test them head to head and NOTHING sounds better. I am just giving you a guys a heads up.

I plan on buying one when they come out. Doesn't take up much space, LOTS of clean, powerful sound from something VERY small.

Wait until you hear one! Not sure of price point.
