Old Buddy Rich showing off for some high school kids ''' I was surprised at Max Roach lame high hat work .. Buddy commonly played the high hat from underneath too ... nice symbol work here .. I could see Buddy as Zappas drummer ...

Buddy Rich is a Given...

My favs are

Keith Moon....Sad Day when he left Us
Carl Palmer....ELP was absolutely Mind Blowing
Neil Pert....That guy was amazing live.

John Bonham deserves "Honorable Mention"

Keith Moon Story ...

Who knows what he could have been .. no pun intended.. I see 2 types of drummers .. technicians and bangers.. I think Keith was at the top of the bangers..

Terry Bozzio was a real sleeper .. His band was Missing Persons ,,the one with the chic lead singer.. basic top 40 band . The gurl was beautiful and scantily clad .. I never noticed they even had a drummer.. I wasn't crazy about the band ... I think his best work was with Zappa ... Saw him last year play The Black Page ,,, still unbalievable ... here's a bio

Buddy Rich--great talent but an absolutely horrid human being, and the biggest prick in the business to work for.

Ed Shaugnessey from the original Tonight Show band was a very good, and vastly underrated, drummer

Oh great....
Another Tool fan.

Only saw them twice.
Twisted and strange but two of the absolute best live shows I have ever seen.

Even saw Perfect Circle at UNH...........
Not even close.
