Shower Valve???

Can anyone tell me what brand shower valve this is? I need to get a trim kit for it and I am not seeing any markings on this valve.

I may end up replacing these old valves. Before I do...I need to open up a few walls to access them...what valves do you recommend? Tell me more about the Kohler valves if you don't mind.

They are expensive... They have 2 safety features one is the balancing for pressure incase the cold water dies off and your in the shower it will balance the hot/cold so you don't get scalded...

Now say you accidentally bump the shower and your hot water runs really hot say in the 140+ range.. This has a safety that will stop the water if it's too hot over 120F...

What ever you get make sure it has anti scalding feature incase someone flushes or if you have a pressure loss.. better safe then sorry...

OK, Thanks. These valves seem to be working fine,,,and it's just me living in the house. So, maybe I will leave them alone for now. Thanks for the help.
