Paint question

I am looking for a really "bright" pearl or metallic silver...similar to the silver found on Daiwa Grandwave reels. Createx looks good "wet", but darkens after drying. Any other brands that I can try or any suggestions on making the Createx "brighter"? Thanks..

The Createx may take on that wet look after you clear it! Others may be able to verify if that is so as I do not use createx....however the clear coat generally gives paint a wet look.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Yea, paint will change a lot after a clear coat. Try a sample and see what it looks like...

rustoleum makes a nice silver enamel, comes in small jars. can't recall exactly what they call it(small job brush on or something like that) works fine in airbrush and walmart has it.

American Accents by Rustoleum. They make silver or aluminum. (oils) Just thin them a little to run through your airbrush or buy the rattlecans.

FOr bright pearls i use a createx base pearl then i use some cheap glitter with createx gloss coat then createx over it and it comes out nice and bright.

3m makes a bright silver and pearl but its pretty pricey
and you'd have to bondo your plug.
