plugfest rookie category

what exactly is the criteria for this category at plugfest?

I just made a rookie mistake on my flaptail plug. Here is my scenario. For the first time I made a vamp style flaptail plug. I also decided to make it an off-center plug as well.

I thought i had laid the plug out properly before i started all my sanding and drilling etc. WELL, I was off on the layout and now it is slightly curved in the wrong place.

Just wanted to let it be known, In case someone gets it in the donation raffle.

I am happy with the color pattern.

work hard, fish hard and die happy!
