Mounting/Hanging Giant Horns

I've taken possession of a very old set of large horns with the skull plate. Maybe wildebeest? Not sure but they're over three feet wide, very cool and in fantastic condition.

What I can't find is any good instructions online on the best way to mount them or fashion a sling to just hang them. I suppose I could just lash a rope around the base of each horn that joins in a loop in the back.

Any input would be appreciated.

Screw them to a board and cover the attachment, if you look at this site they have some mounting parts. That should give you an idea. If they are truly very large this might not work
You could also put a holder for the rock you used to harvest the animal

They are really big. Not sure if i'd want to screw into such old bone. Didn't kill it, not sure how old these are but 50-100 years likely.

You drill thru the skullplate and bolt it through the wood. Use a big washer.
Cover the skullplate with something hide, fur, fabric.
I'm assuming you can pick the antlers up by the skullplate.
