Goo Goo Eye plug

Help Needed - Has anyone a picture of the Goo Goo Eye plug and specs including the placement of the lip and eyes ?

hey Don, good to see you around here again. like stated above I think it is all there in the link Sgt. Striper put up. No weight was used but I did make some with wgt and it worked well with and without wgt.

I dont weight mine and make them from western red ( I've experimented with pine,birch and mapel as well), I feel the weight of the epoxy compensates for the lighter wood.. the ones I weighted just didnt seem to have the original action( 8" plug, the smaller 6" does well with a little lead in the gut)..I do through wire them and fit them with 4/0 VMC's in the front, rear with a 3/0 and a 6/0 siwash on the tail.. they work well when towed against the rip in that swirling washing machine know as the Merrimack river...

A good run is better than a bad stand!
