to libs who think conservatives are inventing issue of sexualizing kids in scho

a GA mom went to a school board meeting, was reading sexually explicit stuff from a book.

A board member told her to stop, saying the words were too explicit to say in public, and that kids could hear it, and that it was inappropriate for kids to hear.

The book she was reading from, was available in the school library.

Just wait till she finds out about the internet

But I didn’t understand how “Woke Disney” was such a threat to someone’s gender identity until Tucker Carlson started advocating “Testicle Tanning” to make you more manly.

Now it all makes perfect sense.

Luckily they’re on the lookout for all kinds of evil

Sources say Gov. Ron Desantis discovered the recruitment of Al-Gebra trainees taking place under the guise of so called "math classes" in middle schools all around Florida.
All math classes have been suspended until a full investigation has been completed.

The Florida law that Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed last month empowers parents to take actions against offending school boards

the law’s vagueness might end up handing opponents a hidden weapon against it.

Some on the right to include Jim — and DeSantis’s spokesperson — have slimed Disney and other critics as “groomers” out to prep kids for sex

All this happened under your watch," the parent told the board

Wow shocking another mom free speech for me not thee.

The books been around since 2016 novel of breathtaking sweep and emotional power that traces three hundred years in Ghana and along the way also becomes a truly great American novel. Extraordinary for its exquisite language, its implacable sorrow, its soaring beauty, and for its monumental portrait of the forces that shape families and nations,

Yet you got this women reading out I am guessing a rape or sex scene. Uptight because she can’t get laid!!!

What’s next Jim remove old National Geographic because of topless indigenous women

And I doubt her children are going to go looking for that book for the dirty parts that’s conservatives imagination running wild ..

While her sons on his phone watching youporn and her daughter is watching bridgerton.on Netflix she’s at a school board metering making an ass of herself …. Gotta love Conservatives logic

you mean the law that you called “don’t say gay”, which was just before you criticized republicans for
lying?

do you ever, and i mean ever, stuck to the subject?

you have been saying that conservatives have no valid reason to be concerned about what’s in these schools. i pointnto a real example of sexual language so explicit, the school board member said it wasn’t fit for kids, not knowing it was from a school book.

I’m sorry if their pains you to hear it, but that proves that there’s some inappropriate sexual stuff in public school.

good for parents for raising awareness

why is it so important to you, that children be exposed to sexually explicit material in public schools.?

and it’s not a new thing that school board members are accountable to parents. parents elect them. they serve the parents.

“uptight because she cant get laid.”

did you read my link? the school board member was the one who told the mother to stop reading

do you have any idea how trump-like you sound?

you’re a real classless jerk. and you’re stupid. and you truly deserve what’s coming in november.

parents who don’t want smut in elementary school are all sexually frustrated. it’s not posssible to have a principled reason to not want kids exposed to this.

a losing political issue for you, like just about everything else.

Wayne we’re adults. there are things suitable for us that aren’t suitable for a 6 year old. Clearly that concept is beyond you and I’m sorry for that. Maybe if you spent less time in school looking at porn and more time learning, you’d understand what i mean.

not sure why you’re waiting to see what was objectionable, the video is in the link i posted. Pure smut that somehow is required reading for an AP English class. Unreal.

Yea republicans are so very desperate. nothing is going our way, he polls look awful for us, i think o the democrats are going to win 100% of the house.

What in Gods name do conservatives have to be desperate about? Can you name one thing? We can’t WAIT until November.

You called the FL bill “don’t say gay”, then you say conservatives lie, then you say we live in fantasy land.

whatever you say.

there are things suitable for us that aren’t suitable for a 6 year old. No kidding but these things are not being taught in schools not 20 years ago or yesterday ... it's the right Q fixation with paedophilia pizza gate
cabals of baby eating Democrats .. wake up Jim this is where this all came from it's not a legitimate concern its a manufactured one

Trump Said QAnon ‘Fights’ Pedophilia. that there is a secret cabal of powerful elites who run an underground pedophilia ring, and that President Trump is currently working to bring these evildoers to justice. But the underlying connective tissue of QAnon is that bad people, mainly Democrats, are trafficking children and Trump is the only one who can stop them.

Q followers began using #savethechildren to spread the conspiracy theory,

Gov. DeSantis spokesperson says ‘Don’t Say Gay’ opponents are ‘groomers’

its all in the open Jim you just have to see it

Now math books

Florida rejects 54 math books, claiming critical race theory appeared in some

The rejected books make up a record 41% of the 132 books submitted for review, the Florida Department of Education said in a statement.

Of them, 28 were rejected because they "incorporate prohibited topics or unsolicited strategies, including [critical race theory],"

but no mention of which math books

Among grade levels, 70% of the math materials for kindergarten through fifth grades were rejected. Twenty percent of the materials for grades 6-8 were rejected, and 35% of materials for grades 9-12 were rejected.

"It seems that some publishers attempted to slap a coat of paint on an old house built on the foundation of Common Core, and indoctrinating concepts like race essentialism, especially, bizarrely, for elementary school students," said Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.

yep just like your dirty books they've been in schools for decades and not until Conservative morality police went digging in Dark corners to expose this mythical grooming and CRT that they still have no idea what it is so its everything

DeSantis wants to end Disney World's special status in Florida

now hes attacking Disney not the 1st time Republicans have tried

Odd republicans loved Citizen united The court held that the free speech clause of the First Amendment prohibits the government from restricting independent expenditures for political campaigns by corporations, including nonprofit corporations, labor unions, and other associations.

So now Ron who is upset that Disney used its First Amendment right to speak out against his policy feels that he can Punish them for doing So

Just another example of conservatives Free speech is for ME not thee ...

The Villages is a census-designated place in Sumter County, Florida, United States. It shares its name with a broader master-planned age-restricted community that spreads into portions of Lake and Marion counties

They have the same status of Disney but their conservatives and didn’t disagree with their Dear leader . So they are not in Ron’s crosshairs.

Ron’s been in office for how long Jim ? And suddenly last year these issues have become a concern of his !

Wake up it’s all about him bring mini Trump because he sees Jan6th has given him a chance…in2024 so he’s all in on kowtowing to the base

And keep thinking people are moving to Fla thanks to Ron

58% approval rating, DeSantis

DeSantis drew just 44% in Aug 2021 No cheerleading then?bakers rating no is 57%

Gov. Charlie Baker's approval rating
In 2021 peaked at 72% omg in a dem State .., let me guess another Rino

But you don’t see me stroking him daily

WDMSO -

an article showing Desantis approval ratings at 58.8% last month.

https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/po...e-3e95dc0cf18a

2020 census data says Florida had the 8th highest population increase from 2020-2020. 8th out of 50.

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-sta...merica?slide=4

So am I "radical", or am I "stating irrefutable facts, which you don't happen to like and therefore cannot accept"?

Which is it?

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) threatens Twitter after it activated “poison pill” plan to prevent Elon Musk’s acquisition: “We’re gonna be looking at ways the state of Florida potentially can be holding these Twitter board of directors accountable for breaching their fiduciary duty.”

Spin it however you’d like but Ron DeSantis targeting Disney’s 55-year old charter for political revenge is peak big government overreach.

The fire department, power plant and roads that Disney currently funds would then be paid for by Florida taxpayers.

He’s just itching to be POTUS and have more power to threaten people and things he doesn't like.

Stating the obvious here, people who want power so they can punish their enemies should never be given any power. Public office is a position of trust that should be reserved for those who seek to help people.

I didn't guess this would be the clarion call of 21st century conservatism. It's a list of stuff they hate. That's literally the only thing that binds them together.

I can't imagine being like that. It would be hellish.

Twitter's board of directors is abandoning their fiduciary duty by denying the shareholders a huge increase in the worth of their investment.

Spin it however you’d like but Ron DeSantis targeting Disney’s 55-year old charter for political revenge is peak big government overreach.

Oh, so now you're on the side of the oligarch--spin it however you'd like. Disney is pushing it's mighty political clout around lying about and trying to defeat a popular bill. Game on and you side with the big corporation against the will of the people--hypocrite.

The fire department, power plant and roads that Disney currently funds would then be paid for by Florida taxpayers.

What would stop Disney from providing the funds?

He’s just itching to be POTUS and have more power to threaten people and things he doesn't like.

Naw . . . he's just itching to be POTUS in order to "help" people and things he likes--the American people, for instance.

Stating the obvious here, people who want power so they can punish their enemies should never be given any power. Public office is a position of trust that should be reserved for those who seek to help people.

DeSantis wants to "help" the people of Florida. Disney wants to "help" itself. Public office in a constitutional republic such as ours should be "reserved" for those who seek to uphold the Constitution and protect our inalienable rights.

Of course, being an authoritarian, you favor government that has the power to decide what is good for the people and to punish those who oppose the government's "help" and the government's way of providing that "help." How dare the citizens criticize and oppose the decisions of those running government agencies! What hubris for parents to object to what is being taught in schools! Do they actually think they know better what's good for their children than government experts!?!

I didn't guess this would be the clarion call of 21st century conservatism. It's a list of stuff they hate. That's literally the only thing that binds them together.

"Conservatives" are bound together by the things they love. Progressives, including you, hate "conservatism."
You'd do anything, tell any lie, to destroy "conservatism."

I can't imagine being like that. It would be hellish.
But you are like that. Maybe that's why you sound so hellish.

Sounds like typical politics. Nothing a Dem wouldn't do.

Disney does the corporate, oligarchic trick. Buy the politician. Disney figures it owns the politician and doesn't need to buy him anymore. Politician says he doesn't need Disney anymore.

When you stop paying for what you want, you don't get any more of it. Works in the market and in politics.

Disney shouldn't have gotten the carveout in the first place. Politics is dirty. That's why people tend to hate it. If you think that DeSantis must be a saint that dares not tread where typical politicians of either party go, you're dreaming in Disney land.

I want a candidate who embodies the good of trump

That’s the issue Jim their was no good in Trump

You might as well say you want a candidate who embodies the good of Benedict Arnold

And iam100% sure if Trump happens to win re-election. He and his followers will try to overturn that a president can only serve 2 terms
Using the 2020 election as his excuse and if the Republicans control both houses they’ll do it

And if he losses it was stolen again and both house will succeed were they failed last time.

because you’re thoughtless.

why did a record number of americans say they were better off after 4 years of trump? he set the record for that poll. It was a Gallup poll, not a fox news poll.

Why did trump double the standard deduction on income tax, which increases the number of people
who pay nothing? Why did he create economic opportunity zones in urban areas? why does he advocate for school choice? why did he advocate for criminal justice reform?

He’s an unbelievable, world class jerk. but he implemented policies that americans liked.

Both of those things are true. I can admit the former. You can’t admit the latter.

The little kid who cut lawns to make
money wrote trump a letter, trump brought him to the white house, let him cut the grass, walked back
and forth with him. why? why did he do that, when he could
have been doing evil at that time?

the problem is, where you get your news, they won’t mention the good things he accomplished ( lowest ever black unemployment). they are banking on you being thoughtless, and they want you to be ignorant.

please explain this.

sick little boy needed to fly across the country, commercial
airlines refused to do it because of all the medical
equipment he needed

Trump donated his jet.

Why? Why did he do that?

Have fun answering.

I know that you have mentioned this many times but do you have anything from this century?

To show Trumps generosity you need use a story from 1988?

As part of a resolution of the lawsuit announced on November 7th, Trump was ordered to pay $2 million, or $250,000, a piece to eight different charities.

Additionally, as part of the settlement, Trump was required to agree to 19 admissions, acknowledging his personal misuse of funds at the Trump Foundation, and agreed to restrictions on future charitable service and ongoing reporting to the Office of the Attorney General, in the event he creates a new charity. The settlement also included mandatory training requirements for Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump, which the three children have already undergone. Finally, the settlement required the Trump Foundation to shutter its doors last December and dissolve under court supervision.

I like that story (donating his jet to the child), because Trump specifically did what the commercial airlines refused to do. It's an interesting story, I didn't say it happened yesterday. It's also worth noting that the kid was Jewish and Trump still gets called an anti-semite.

WDMSO says there's no good in him. Again, he's such a simpleton, he has to convince himself that Trump is a Sith Lord, he literally isn't capable of processing anything else.

I'm not his accountant. It's my understanding he donated his presidential salary for 4 years, and he's some charitable giving from Wikipedia from 2006 to 2009.

Some others...keep in mind, I'm not saying he's a good man. I say he's not a good man. But he's not even close to what your side says he is...there is good, and there is bad...

The lefties here have called people retard, gone after TDF's kids, gone after another guys wife's illness. But you all clutch your pearls and start menstruating when Trump acts like a jerk? Sorry, we're not buying it, you can't have it both ways.

You've used imbecile frequently. , gone after TDF's kidsDidn't he post a picture in response to Pete and title it "liberal's kids" or something similar and then Pete posted a picture and said TDF's kids. , gone after another guys wife's illnessdidn't see that but you seem never to have a problem when Seadangles went after people's kids here (by mocking their college), mentioning people's wives or constantly calling people POS'. But you all clutch your pearls and start menstruating when Trump acts like a jerk? Yet, your the one here with the most posts, threads and posts all hours of the day and night, seven days a week. Sorry, we're not buying it, you can't have it both ways.
This is one of the reasons I think you are a D ick.

Yeah . . . and as usual, Pete likes to have it both ways. He rails against Citizens United, and claims that corporations run the country. But he resists the fact that it's a symbiotic relationship. The politicians have to agree, they are not forced into the corruption. Here you have a case were the politician rebuffs the corporation and Pete criticizes the politician and makes the corporation appear to be the saint. Hypocrite.

But, it's probably because the politician in this case is not a Progressive. Progressive politicians, for Pete it seems, are allowed to be corrupt. No doubt, it fits his authoritarian critical theory philosophy that "conservatism" is totalitarian and must be denied a voice and destroyed--apparently by any lying deceptive means necessary.

Pete may think DeSantis should be saintly because of his name? Look up the name Santis.

So far, the Republican Party has banned abortion, books, history lessons, and Disney, because they really, really, really hate cancel culture.

Not yet. Probably not ever. Abortion is still available.

banned books,

No. Books are not banned. Plenty of books are available and are being published.

banned history lessons,

No. Republicans are very pro teaching history.

and banned Disney,

No. Disney is free to do what it does.

You want to ban "conservativism" because you really, really, really hate it. But you do love using the expansion of the particular into the general propaganda trick.
