yes ice armor.. this one does not float... I belieave the artic armor does..

I do know this... it is very warm... on all but the coldest/windiest days you cant move around with the jacket on.. or you WILL roast..

Bunch of differant ones there.... the little girl( Katie) with the pike was on Lake Champlain.... the other girl(s) were from Johnsons pond... the lake trout with the mountian back drop were from Winnipesauki... The trout( with me kneeling in the snow)and bass were from Corbetts pond the picture of me kneeling next to the old ford with the laker,cusk and rainbow were also from Winni. and the big chainsides was also from johnsons pond

cool pics roc, ive been getting into ice fishing last few years, a lot more fun than you think! even when you aint catchin. I just hope the cape freezes again this year

it's not as good as it used to be since the tournoments started....... but you never know when a 5 lb. pickerel or a 8 lb bass might swallow your bait... in icefishing... as in striper fishing . big bait = big fish.. GO BIG OR GO HOME... Unless you like alot of action..

It's definitely not as good as it used to be.
After a quick discussion, a friend and I released a 4 3/4 pound bass thinking it would never have a chance at even placing in an ice tourny on that pond. Later, we found out my friends uncle and his buddy who lives on the pond took third with one in the middle 4's.

That's the first time I've admitted that

Some my favorite ice pics with my fishing buddy. In order: her very first day on the ice, then her first time pulling a fish thru the hole, & with the bass, Jules did it all by herself from baiting up, spotting the flag, setting the hook & finally icing him, damn I was proud! Now if I could only get her to sit still in the deer stand....
