Going up was fine. I was on the road at 4am.
No one was on the road.

Going home was the worste part. I was tired and hit
traffic on 95 going through NYC.

SK;
If there is ever a next time! When coming back; at the end of 95 south, swing down 287 to the GSP!! much better and faster!

My old favorite was to go over the TappanZee and then takes the Palisades south to 95. GSP was often a traffic nightmare at times...

Awesome pics, last one says it all - great to meet you!

We also had her picking the raffle winners, RealE's daughter had a busy day

The next generation of Surfcasters..she was really excited to meet you guys and PF really put the bug in her. She didn't stop asking about plugs and fly tying the whole way home and the rest of the day her mother couldn't believe it
Now I have to find a cheap fly vise

Great meeting a bunch of guys from the board, as well as some old friends..Weird to see them during the day though instead of in the middle of the night cloaked in waders and fishing garb..., like last call when they throw the lights on

Used hard and put away dirty....

The Cross Bronx is the only road I've ever seen that can be backed up end to end at 3 AM on a Sunday.

I avoid it like the plague. Any alternative is a better route.

I've heard the Cross Bronx is the heaviest travelled road in all the nation. True or not, I sure avoid it!
