"The Mystery of Eels" on RIPBS 4/10 @ 8pm

For all the knuckle-dragging Neanderthal eel slingers , RIPBS Ch 36 has the eel show on NATURE tonight at 8pm. Even if your not an eel slinger this show should be pretty interesting.

Cool! Can't wait to see it.
In other news, BBC has a nature show about the South Pacific. In one of the episodes they are in New Guinea (sp?) and they show a villiage that has tamed eels and made them pets. It was so cool.

. . . and for those of you that like codfish. . .

http://www.sacredcodfilm.com/sceneselects/

This Thursday on the Discovery Channel. It's a documentary that takes a look at the collapse of the Gulf of Maine cod fishery from opposite points of view: the science that is eliminating the opportunity to fish for cod and the fishermen that are impacted by the regulations.

It should be good, for fish nerds like me.

That was very cool.

Amazing to think that eels could fetch up to $2600 a pound.Japanese love their tuna and eels.

That lady from Maine got robbed of her catch, worth a $140,000!
