Narragansett Porter...not bad

My friend brought over some Narragansett Porter. I had only 1 can but it wasn't bad. Very heavy FG but a good taste. A little hop aroma would have made it really good.

Not the best but I was definitely pleasantly surprised.

It's certainly not terrible. Lacks character and has a bit of single dimensional chocolate note to it. Agree a little hop aroma would be nice.

What's a six pack of 16oz cans cost like 8 bucks? A lot of buzz for the money although I wouldn't want to drink more than a few. Well, perhaps I have...

Considering their business model, it seems like it fits well, decent beer and volume for the money...same goes for the Festbeer which wasn't too bad either.
