NBA Finals

Its clear not many here even care about B Ball at all but here's a thread if you do.

I was shocked at the size of OKC compared to MIami. That is one big collection of basketball players!

I don't think game one means any more than the home team winning the opener which they should. lets see what happens in game two which is traditionally the game the away team tries to steal to shift the Home Court Advantage.

Durant is great as are many on that team. I thought LeBron held up his end. If Bosh had played against the Celtics in game 7 the way he played last night...we'd be in the big dance. Anyway , I enjoy watching the games. i think the playoffs is the only time you ever see a whole game of all out basketball. the rest of the season i think they just kill time until the last 5 minutes.

I have zero preference as to who wins. Unusual watching a game just to see what happens with no favorite.

I agree with The Dad Fisherman. Go OKC, its a likeable team and that crowd gets up for the game. I can't say the same for Miami. Have you guys noticed Lebron's Magnum sized headband? It got knocked off in a Celtics game and I was shocked to see that receeding hairline. He's trying to hide it under a huge headband. Hahaha. The C's may have lost but at least I'll have that memory.

OKC is all around good team, and they all shoot well.they can put players to rest and still score.opposed miami, they can't afford having wade or james taking a break they are the only shooters one man band type, battier can shoot but OKC performance is way superior than miami. OKC will win in my opinion.

despite Miami winning last night , I think OKC showed itself to be the team to beat. KD is an iceman shooting in crunch time. Should be interesting to see what happens on Miami's home court. I predict a split in Miami too.

Miami won one with D last night. That's a bad sign for OKC. Perhaps this shocks them into high gear like what happened in the Spurs series. Miami has 2 more to win one and head back to OKC 3/2.

OKC looked dead on their feet last night. It could be over for them as they appear to be quitting. Wade played a great game last night. That guy is all hustle.

Could be over tomorrow. Should be a good game though.

Hate to say it but I'm cheering (softly) for Miami. Say what you will about Lebron, but I don't think half the guys in the league play as hard as him.

I think he learned that being called the King doesn't get you a ring. He's definitely playing hard and coming through when it counts this year. They still have to win 1 more. Sometimes getting win 4 is not so easy...ask the Celtics.

OK, so I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Miami has it clinched....3 minutes to go

yes, I am sad. I don't like all the yacking James did earlier about winning titles, still wishing I was watching the Celtics (even though I felt they had slim chance from the beginning)...

whatever...........C-ya next year Green!!!

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

Congrats to James and the Heat. Too bad its all about Lebron because without wade and Bosh and Miller and etc , etc the Heat would not have won. But I will admit Lebron is the big player on that team and he came through big in this years playoffs.

Its obvious to me that the Celtics were the second best team in the league this year. If not for about 2 minutes in game 2 against Miami , we may very well have been this years champs.

So Lebron has his ring but I think next year will be just as pressure packed as the media will be insisting that if they don't repeat he will be a failure again.
