slowly getting back into it

after a poor fall, i've not been thinking much about plugbuilding but i'm slowing starting to look forward to plugfestand seeing everyone i hit the lathe for the first time last week and tried a jointed danny hope everyone has a great holiday season

Nice stripercrazy!

I've been slacking as well but the itch is coming back too. I make a jointed Danny very similar to that, except the middle is a bit thicker. With a pikie 3 lip it gets down real good and does nicely at the breachways.

Very nice. Was thinking about you last week, mentioned to Denise I haven't seen you in a while. Very Merry!

Chunkah your range of motion will be limited with that center cut like that. If you sand a taper on both sides I think you'll get more action when you run it slower.

He may also be able to get into that loop with some pliers and modify it so the tail gets back further
