Anybody hear/see the JayZ rap tape

He was in a nightclub using the MF and N word in all his illiterate glory refrring to Obama. The implications here are huge, if true, about the inroads that the recording artists and Hollywood types think that have made in shaping this countries policy. I watched the tape on "Fox national news" this morning. Maybe it was just his testosterone going, but it certainly sounded biggoted to me.

I don't see how the "implications here are huge". Certianly it was ugly, and perhaps an embarrasment to Obama, but they are rappers anot not cabinet appointees.

I agree.

This guy is teflon. If Ayers, Wright and Rezkow didn't slow him down what the heck is a little freestyle rap from the "Jay to the Z" gonna do?

I like Dennis Millers response. Guys like JAYZ will mean less to the Black community now that Obama is President. He will be the new roll model.

Jay Z is an entertainer and I think most people realize that. I'm more interested in hearing Eminem's Joe Biden tribute.

Obama's got more acquaintances in common with Scooter Libby than Jay Z.
He's more white than black.

I agree but guys like JayZ are attaching themsleves to the Obama bandwagon, and while in the future they will mean less and less to the black comunity, hopefully, it still is hugely embarrassing to the OBama people.

Jay Z's been trying to reach all kinds of people for years. He used to be big with the granola and hippie crowd a few years ago. He's still trying to get his "street cred" back after going onstage with Phish.
