Boat

This started our morning .

We checked it out & called the C/G . they had already received a call on it ………. so no life loss ><>

At least they lifted the motor up to save the propeller=Broke from mooring and drifted

I went out last Thursday about 6:00 am for fuel.
Was blowing a steady 30-35 out of the NE.
Anyone that knows the Quincy area knows Wessagussett area knows that’s to get your boat out of there when a good NE is coming.
A handful of boats still on the moorings at the WYC and rocking like hell.
One was listing hard to port when I went out and each wave put the bow under. I knew it was a matter of time and it was going down.
Made a few calls
1/2 hr later when I was coming in it was turtled.
Was still upside down late Sunday when I was coming in with a charter.
It wasn’t the only boat that went down in the area.

Paulie , they got real lucky or not ….. the S/E laid right down & it was gone when we headed home .

BTW .never met P-23 ……..also turned down a offer

I saw at least four turtled in Marblehead... My brother told me today that eight were lost/turtled. But he is prone to exaggerate...
