For The Birds

Any other Bird owners on SB.com ???

We have a 25+ year old Goffin in the House


Ravin, I read the other day You have a Goffin also???
What are the chances of that ??

Bert our Goffin is a NUT to say the least

We have three love birds and a Blue front amazon. Still thinking about getting a macaw.

Thumbs up yes, i just brought him in

his name is SINBAD,

in fact i have trained my goffin sinbad like you would a falcon...

because well i'm a raven Wizard and i can do that...sort of thing.

i call him from the tree tops and he glides on over....to my outstretched arm...

i'm probably one of the only people in america to acomplish this.
you have to be able to "read" bird brains...

man can he shreak out there..especially when any turkey vulture or crows fly over...
he lets the other birds know he rules here.

is when there a light misty rain but still warm...

and i fling him outside at 7 am and bring him in at 7pm

I used to live with an African Grey (CAG), Quaker, and an Eclectus.

Also worked at a large bird shop (mostly different types of macaws including a hyacinth) and helped out at the raptor barn (rehabilitation of rescued raptors.... yes Osprey claws hurt. alot.) at Cornell.
