Vermont Beer'd

Since we're on this little Vermont Beer mini tear here I thought I'd call to attention one of the coolest places I've ever gotten drunk, which happened to be in Vermont during my brothers best friends wedding. My brother went to St. Mikes and frequented this place called the Alchemist when he was in college so he dragged us an hour out of the way on the trip up to go to this place. They only serve their beer in their pub. "7 barrel brew pub, specializing in hand crafted beer and casual pub fair." http://www.alchemistbeer.com/

I can't reccomend the place enough. crazy home made bar with little tiles on the top. A huge old brass vat in the window. local art and sculptures and all kind of crazy shiz in there.

Anyone else been there?
Favorite Vermont Beers?

I'm in Vermont and have been a bunch of times...terrific!
Across the street, and of course I can't remember the name, is a small bar that is known for having rare local beers from micro brewers AND fly tying at the bar. That's pretty amazing too.
