Kennedy Fisher question

I picked up an 11 foot surf rod, owner did not know if it was a Lami or Kennedy Fisher. Subsequent to 4 rotator surgeries I can't handle this heavy action and fairly heavy-weight rod but wanted to know how to ID a kennedy Fisher, it has a slight greenish tinge to the grey graphite... Thanks

if it has a translucent green tint to it, it could be an old lamiglas perigee blank. they made them back in the last 90's or early 2000's. or, someone made a special order from lamiglas for that color of a GSB-series blank. all the jk fisher blanks/rods i've seen are trans graphite colored. so, my guess, lami perigee blank/rod or a custom rod someone tinted when they epoxied. i'd have to go search my old hard copies of catalogs to see if they made an 11' blank though. i know they made a 10'.

The Perigees that I built on had a gold "sparkle" in the finish and were more green than just tinted. I bought some Perigee seconds from Dick French that were green but did not have the glitter in the finish. I'm still fishing one of them now.

Fisher did not have the capability to make a 11' 1pc blank. I would say it's a Lamiglas.
