I think he is a great great player and I remember when that Austin City Limits first came out I was blown away. At the time he had no records out he was just this mystery guy from Austin. Since then I have bought most of what he has released but other than Cliffs of Dover the songs tend to be his weak spot. I would love to see him hook up with a singer or second instrumentalist where he would be a bit more challenged.

I've been a fan for years, starting with the Tones record. I recently got HD for the tube and we now get a channel called HDNet, they had a recent concert of him in high definition and it was AWESOME.
I agree he should work with a singer
