Hasbro Children's Hospital - Providence

My son has some minor abdominal issues and had surgery this morning - so far all seems a success. We are happy and releived.

I am very impressed with the staff at Hasbro. Everyone has been awesome. There was a meeting Wednesday that had the families and patients to be doing a walk-thru on what would happen on the day of the surgery - very informative and an obvious key to making my son at ease today (and me and the boss).

The staff was awesome, from the nurses to doctors and even the parking attendant (OK, maybe that was just the law of averages kicking in). It was a well oiled team that treated my son with respect and a smile....

Dr. Caldamone? Great Doc

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. He is responding great and has been a real trooper with this event. The hard part has been to keep him from playing around. The next hard part will occur Saturday or Sunday when my wife and I stop waiting on him hand and foot....

John,
All my best to him. I wish him a speedy recovery. I recall how hard it was when my kids were little and one of them got sick.

He's mad at me this morning because I keep trying to slow him down from crawling all over the place and jumping all over the furniture

He's doing great - thanks!
