yup, its out. A little disapponited as I have seen most of the footage before. It was associated with the Discovery Channel so they must share the shots.

Change of plans...Friday the Girls went out so it was just me and the Boy....we watched Dr. Strangelove

Saturday I got outvoted for on the waterfront so We watched The Bridge on the River Kwai instead.

My understanding is that the Earth movie was a paring down of the Footage from the Planet Earth series on Discovery Channel

I liked it but could never understand how he became Obi Wan? What do the Japanese have to do with Jedis? Just tough to reconcile.

This weekend I will introduce my 4 1/2 year old son to Star Wars. We just got back from Disney World where he went on the Star Wars ride and now he wants to see the movie. This is a pretty big step for him because until now he's only watched cartoon movies with the exception of the Planet Earth movie.

If he did the ride he'll love the movies. My son is the same age and i got him started last year on Star Wars and he loved it. I love how he mispronounces some of the names too but he says it with such command it's believable. My favorite is Luke WalkSky!
