Mass knife laws???

Does anyone know what the Mass State law is on carrying a pocket knife? (length of blade) Tried to look it up online, but there were so many attachments and amendments contradicting each other that it might as well have been written in Chinese.
Thanks
Bob

knives

You can carry any knife on you that you wish as long as it is not activated by a button: such as, a stilletto or switchbblade, or has a double edge. Thier is one switchblade that you can carry and that is as long as the blade after activation only extends 1 1/2 inches or less. This 1 1/2 inches refers to the pipe smokers in the legislature that passed the current dangerous weapons law 269-10. The small switchblades were used to clean the pipes that the lawmakers smoked. A safe bet though would be not to carry any knife that had a double edge or one that is considered any type of switchblade. Length or concealment has nothing to do with it.

length/concealment

That is unless your considering committing an armed robbery.

Absolutely...........Curious to see who specifically sponsored that law. Imagine the laws they would enact if they thought they could get away with it.
