Fantastic! Somebody has been studying his Jaco. Got to find more o that. Maybe light up the infamous awesome bassists (shifted from Stanely to Jaco) thread.

PG this week, likely the best you never hear is this one IMHO (must be the Frippertronics, and the bass line)

I just listened to that JLP bass solo again. That guy is so goooood.

Heard this yesterday. Pretty cool newer live stuff here. His voice is off a bit but he is no spring chicken anymore and these guys can still bring it musically. Martin Barre is great.

Nice Mike. That balding guy playing the Les Paul on the right looks familiar.

I listened to this entire album on my drive back and forth to the Cape yesterday. One of my fav's.

Here's the cissy strut from a few weeks back. Video really doesn't do it justice as you can't feel the bass groove, but Jim Loughlin raging on the keys gives you the jist of things:

this tune today on Pod, looked and found this awesome live recording. 3 Allman Bros. band members. Saw them at the Paradise in Boston in late 70's or early 80's. Long time ago. what a show.
