Help! cant get my lorance elite 4 dsi to work

I need help troubleshooting my lowrance elite 5 DSI to work. I purchased my boat set up from kayak fishing supplies. The sounder worked great for about five trips and now it wont even power on. Does some one out there know someone in the general area of fall river Newport or Westport who I could pay to basic trouble shoot the unit before I send it back to Lowrance? Help it gives a great picture when it works thanks charlie

if it doesn't power on, troubleshooting is basically over....send it back. Its under warranty still let them fix it.

I had the same issue. Water got inside it somehow. I returned it to cabelas and get a humminbird. They seem more durable.

What you ought to do is return that foolish thing and buy the new Garmin Echomap 50. Little more money after purchasing the transducer, but overall a better, more reliable unit. That DSI is nothin but snake oil.
