Habs Nightngale question

I have one and it casts great but how do you work these things? Like a pencil? Or needle? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I prefer needle retreive a little below the surface on rough nights. My favorite is with a teaser.

I never had any luck with it but want to catch on it next year. It's shaped like a needle with a fatter body. I always tried fishing it like a pencil an never liked the action that way. I'll try the needle retrieve and see what happens thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's designed to be fished as a needle, but heavier so you can cast it in the sloppier weather. not to say you can't work it differently but I'm pretty sure its intended for rough weather

Definitely fish it like a needle on those windy crummy nights,,,

IT WILL CATCH..... You can fish it SLOWLY just below the surface or you can let it sink for a few seconds and then reel it SLOWLY just bouncing it along the bottom,,

Wink

Actually it works best when posted on E-Bay. Cast it out, take the highest bid and reel in the cash.

Why even try.........

The night-n-gal was made after the pocket rocket which is a wood version of the No Equal which all three where made to be fished in a sloppy wind in your face spot, I believe the last 2 wood lures were made for Block Island.

I would use different styles until something worked there is no set in stone way to fish any plug
