*I am going to bundle up and hit the surf... (My only motivation is the calendar, knowing that its going to be 5-6 months before I can go again.)

*Finish my leaves, (try to)start my snowblower

*catch up on some art /design work

It's deer season, off to camp.

It's a very civilized camp compared to the first deer camp I went to close to 50 years ago.

That one was a former horse shed on the mountain between Rochester and Bethel with a dirt floor and a twoholer. It had a little woodstove and no mattresses or heat at all in the bunkroom. You had to have 4wd to drive the last mile. We had a great time there. Sometimes we shot a deer.

The one I go to now has all the comforts of home and real beds to sleep in. I'm bringing dessert and wine, it is far more civilized and we'll have a great time there. Maybe we'll shoot a deer.

Working in the shop tomorrow, plan on taking the Can Am for a test ride to make sure it's ready for the hard water season.

Big family pre-holiday dinner at Wrights Farm tomorrow night then back here for dessert and bonfire. Sunday Pats game in the afternoon and some rest as I just put in my last day of this year at Franklin CC. Big thank you to Back Beach and Justin. See you in April.

No boat, back in the suds.

I don't know any members by name. When you work at Franklin, you work! Period. Great course and super guys to work for.

Hey Mr. Piemma
Aha, well, he's a great guy. Probably the best player at FCC and a multiple state senior champion.

The course is one of the more difficult I have played. I know guys that are 6 or 7 handicaps at other courses that get humbled when they play Franklin. Long, lots of bunkers and water hazards and very hilly especially 7, 9, 10, 12 and 16.
If you can shoot in the mid to high 80s from the whites you are doing fine.

Next year we need to hook up and get a striped bass golf outing put together, I’m still playing, had one of my low rounds yesterday, just a few lip outs away from getting close to par. In the summer without wind, cold and too many layers, it might have been my all time best.

One more round at Old Sandwich and I am done for the year. Disc golf is so much more fun than this stupid white ball thing.

I'm in. I'm a 16 handicap so I can't compete but I'll play.
