What would u do

Back side little north of Monomy,
Found a decent amount of bass sitting on the bottom, bait all over the place being attack by small blues, birds getting fed

Put out the wire and jigged black/blue w/salt pork thru them, zilch, then green/white zilch..

Went to a large white jig with the pork and got hit once, pulled the hook :-( , several more trolls right through them and zilch...

Headed in to beat that SW washing machine ride home,,,

So, was there anything I could have done o get those fish go eat?

Drop down to 30# leader and vertical jig them fora reaction strike or offer them an easy chunk of meat. and sometimes they just ain't eating until the next tide

20# fluro. Approriate weight egg sinker 4/0 bronzed hook. Seaworm. Game over
Bud and i made a lot of dough in rips all around monomy that way. Smoked everything else like eels, sand eels, live pogies. No fish not eat worm, even tho my mantra used to be "if they wont eat an eel, ef'm"

No brainer...........Use one of Clammer's M80's
Scoop em' up as they float to the surface.

......it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I'd put my 6" jerk in sand eel color on a 3/4oz head and vertical jig.

I've caught some mighty fine bass on Sea worms when they apparently had lock jaw..some times a smashed green crab drifted through them is the desert they want....I learned many years ago that bass feed for a short period of time and rest for a longer period of time...chances are those bass had a belly full of chunks that those small blues provided....they needed to digest their meal.

A good run is better than a bad stand!
